Carlos opens channels, in real life, as Community Builder for IBEX, a Bitcoin-only, lightning-first company who struck the Bitcoin industry via their participation in El Salvador since April 2021 and as BTC mags Miami 2022's on-site payment processor via lightning. Known as Carliño in Central America, he's convinced that we will either be the next great generation...or the last one and Bitcoin is the only path that can lead to the former. Born and raised in Guatemala, he's laser focused on supporting Bitcoin education in El Salvador due to his conviction that successful adoption of Bitcoin in El Salvador is urgent and the loudest signal in the world.
