Carter discovered Bitcoin in 2016, and was immediately fascinated by DeFi and cryptocurrency mining. Woetzel is the Co-Founder of Secure Secrets, a node-hosting and software-engineering company dedicated to privacy-preserving blockchain based solutions. Carter is also a published author - having spent three years writing "Building Confidence in Blockchain: Investing in Cryptocurrency and a Decentralized Future". Most recently, Carter is the lead researcher and economist for Shade Protocol - a privacy-preserving stablecoin and synthetic assets market.
