Julián Alcázar is a Payments Specialist in the Payment Strategies Division at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. His research focuses on consumer protection, financial technology, and payment systems. Prior to FRBKC, he was at the Federal Reserve Board focused on retail payments, and at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) where he focused on a variety of issues from enterprise platforms to payment systems.
