Maria Sabando is a former IT banking risk manager turned strategic advisor for early stage blockchain startups. She has been a Bitcoin educator since 2017, including serving as the COO of the Bitcoin Center in Miami and developed Bitcoin curriculum for members of the Blockchain Center co-working space. She has been an advisor and technical instructor for Bitcoin Babes, a digital community of female Bitcoiners. Most recently cofounding BitMiami, a local community focused exclusively on the Bitcoin ecosystem, curating educational and social events throughout South Florida.
Maria Sabando can be found online as “Marumover” mentoring those interested in developing emerging tech ideas especially through hackathons and technical cohorts like DesFemmes Mentorship program with ChainCode and Legends of Lightning. She is also an investor in multiple early stage projects.
